Speaker Accoustic Seal Kit

Enhances the sound quality of any automotive loudspeaker installation by creating an acoustic barrier behind and around the Speakers.

Kit is for One Pair of Automotive Loudspeakers.

The package comprises three parts:

(A) pads to go behind the speakers to absorb the backwave

(B) sealing rings to seal the speakers to the metal door skin so that air doesn’t get past them

(C) frontal barrier rings which seal between the speaker cones and the perforated door panels or grilles

200mm, 165mm, 130mm, 100mm and 75mm seal rings

200 x 200 egg-crate accoustic damping pads

200mm Speaker to door-trim sealing circles.

The purpose of this kit is to isolate the back-wave of each speaker from the front wave of the speaker. The sound from the back of a speaker is the exact opposite to the sound from the front. If the front and rear sounds meet cancellation will take place and sound quality will decline noticeably.
