The REDARC Tow-Pro Elite Electric Trailer Brake Controller offers two types of braking, proportional and user-controlled mode.

TOW-PRO ELITE ELECTRIC BRAKE CONTROLLER

The Tow-Pro™ Elite is an electric brake controller designed to suit most common trailer braking applications whilst requiring minimal dash space and is simple to install and operate.

The Tow-Pro™ Elite trailer brake controller offers selectable Proportional or User Controlled trailer braking modes allowing the user to choose the braking style depending on the road or terrain conditions, vehicle type, or driver preference.

The Tow-Pro™ Elite electric trailer brake controller features Active Calibration which constantly monitors the direction of travel, the unit will even calibrate with no trailer attached whilst maintaining the ability to mount in any orientation.

The unit is able to operate both electric and electric/hydraulic trailer brakes and will operate from either 12V or 24V vehicle systems without the need for manual selection or extra components or wiring. The unit is also Australian Design Rules (ADR) compliant when installed as directed.

3. Two types of braking

Tow-Pro™ Elite electric brake controller is designed to operate 12V trailer brakes from both 12V and 24V vehicle electrical systems. The acceptable voltage input range is between 9V and 32V.

5. Operates both Electric and Electric/hydraulic trailer brakes

Both braking systems can be operated using Tow-Pro™ Elite electric brake controller requiring no user input to select the mode.

* Tow-Pro Elite may not be suitable for some electric/hydraulic systems that require their own specific controller.

The Redarc TPWKIT-009 Wiring Kit is Suitable for Mitsubishi Pajero NX Vehicles, Aiding in the Installation of the Tow-pro Electric Brake Controller Providing ‘plug and Play’ Connectivity

The REDARC TPWKIT-009 Tow-Pro Wiring Kit supports the installation of both the Tow-Pro Elite and Tow-Pro Classic electric brake controllers and is directly compatible with the Mitsubishi Pajero NX.

The REDARC Tow-Pro Wiring Kit comes with the complete range of hardware required to install a Tow-Pro brake controller and contains the electric brake harness, circuit breaker, bracket and fasteners, all connections are protected with a heat shrink and butt splice to ensure the best connection possible, wiring diagrams and instructions are also included.

The vehicle-specific aftermarket wiring kit ensures quicker installation and more convenient.

The introduction of REDARC’s Tow-Pro V3 included an upgrade to the data cable that connects the Remote Head to the Main Unit.

• V&V2 utilised a CAT5 cable with twin RJ45 connectors
• V3 utilises automotive grade 8 pin connectors

The popular REDARC TPWKIT’s will for a period have both the V2 CAT5 cable and new V3 cable included.
